Security & data
How we protect your students' records, and every rupee.
Is our students' personal data safe?
Yes. Every school runs on its own separate database, so your data is never mixed with another school's. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in readable form; logins are rate-limited, and idle sessions time out. Key actions, such as sign-ins, changes to staff logins, data exports and online payments, are recorded in an audit log.
How is Aadhaar handled?
Aadhaar is optional: you can admit students without it. When an Aadhaar number is typed into a student's record, we store only a masked form (XXXXXXXX1234), so just the last four digits are kept.
Scans of ID documents that your school uploads, such as an Aadhaar card, are kept in private storage that only authorised staff can open. Staff can also choose to verify their identity through DigiLocker; the Aadhaar number it returns is stored masked in the same way.
What about online fee payments? Is card data stored?
No card data is ever stored on our systems. Online payments go through CCAvenue's secure hosted checkout, so card details never reach us. We record each payment in our own ledger before the payer is sent to CCAvenue, so a successful payment is never lost, and the same payment can never produce two receipts.
Who can see what inside the school?
You decide. Admin, Staff and Accountant roles come built in, and you can add your own roles, starting from a copy of an existing one. Each role carries default permissions down to individual actions, such as collecting a fee, voiding an invoice or issuing a leaving certificate. Admins can also allow or deny any permission for an individual. Deactivating a staff member takes effect immediately, even mid-session.
Onboarding & migration
Getting your school set up and your records moved across.
How do we get started?
We set up your school on the platform, configure your session, classes and fee structure, and create your admin login. Then we walk your team through admissions, fees and report cards in a guided demo. Book a demo to begin.
Can we move our existing student and fee data across?
Yes. Onboarding includes setting up your school's database and bringing your records in. The best way to plan this is a demo: show us how your records are kept today and we'll map out the move.
How long does it take to go live?
It depends on your school's size and how your records are kept today. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the demo.
Built for India
April–March sessions, INR fees, CBSE-style report cards and APAAR IDs.
Does it use the April–March academic year?
Yes. The whole platform runs on the Indian academic year (April–March), with sessions written the familiar way, such as 2026–27. Fees are billed per session, and when an online payment covers months in two sessions, each month's tuition is charged at its own session's rate.
Does it support CBSE-style report cards?
Yes. You define your terms, components and weights, and choose a grade scale, including CBSE-style bands (91–100% → A1, 81–90% → A2, 71–80% → B1, and so on). Co-scholastic subjects are grouped separately, and the early years can use a skills-based (competency) report instead.
Do you support APAAR ID and DigiLocker?
Yes. You can record each student's 12-digit APAAR ID on their profile, and it then prints on their leaving certificate (TC), bonafide certificate and fee certificate. DigiLocker identity verification is available for staff, when they are hired or at any time afterwards. It is not used for students or parents.
Can parents pay fees online?
Yes. Parents can pay outstanding fees online from the school's own payment page with just the student's admission number and date of birth; no login is needed. Payments go through CCAvenue and reconcile automatically, and a receipt is generated as soon as a payment succeeds.
Online classes & the student portal
Self-hosted live video, and how students and parents use the portal today.
Are the live classes really self-hosted?
Yes. Live video classes run on infrastructure we host, so there's no third-party video tool and no per-minute meeting fees. Attendance is recorded automatically from when each student joins and leaves, and the class chat is saved as a transcript.
Is there a portal or app for students and parents?
Yes. Students sign in to the web Student portal today for fees and online payment, receipts, their timetable, homework (with marks and feedback), school notices, live classes and their profile. It works in any browser, on a phone or a computer.
There are no separate parent logins: parents can use their child's login, or pay fees without logging in using the admission number and date of birth. A mobile app for students is coming soon.
Student portal: live today Student app: coming soonPricing & support
What it costs, how we help you and multi-school logins.
What does it cost?
Infoiles Ed is priced per student on a simple annual plan, so what you pay scales naturally with the size of your school. We don't publish a one-size-fits-all price because the right plan depends on your student numbers and which parts of the platform you use. Book a demo and we'll walk you through it and give you a clear, tailored quote, with no obligation.
What support do we get?
You can raise support tickets to our team directly from inside the platform, with attachments and threaded replies, and we respond from a single support inbox. You can also reach us at contact@infoiles.com or +91 8448570294.
Can one person log in to more than one school?
Yes. If you run or work across more than one school on Infoiles Ed, a single login works for all of them, and you simply choose which school to enter.
