Checked for viruses
Every upload is scanned before anyone can open it, so one infected pen drive does not spread round the school.

Word, Excel and PowerPoint files open in Infoiles Docs and save back to Drive. Pictures, PDFs, video and audio open in a preview.
Deleted is not gone
Deleted files wait 30 days before they are removed for good, so a mistake can be undone.

Space is per person and shared with Mail: 1 GB for students, 3 GB for staff and 5 GB for the principal and administrators, unless your school asks us for different amounts.
Team spaces are set up by us when your school asks for one, with the people who should be in it.
Open links are off. Links that anyone on the internet could open stay switched off unless your school wants them.
For schools on Infoiles Ed. Drive signs in with your Infoiles Ed accounts, so it comes with Ed rather than on its own.
