Is our students' personal data safe?
Yes. Every school runs in its own isolated database - your data is never mixed with another school's. Logins are encrypted (bcrypt), rate-limited and time out when idle, and every sensitive action is recorded in an append-only audit trail that cannot be edited or deleted.
How is Aadhaar handled?
Aadhaar is verified through the government's DigiLocker (Meri Pehchaan) and is never stored in full. We keep only a masked form (XXXXXXXX1234) and the last four digits - so even a database backup never contains a full Aadhaar number. Aadhaar verification is entirely optional; you can admit students without it.
What about online fee payments - is card data stored?
No card data is ever stored on our systems. Payments go through CCAvenue's hosted checkout (PCI SAQ-A scope). We record a durable payment in our ledger before the parent is sent to the gateway, so a successful payment is never lost, and every receipt is de-duplicated by its transaction ID.
Who can see what inside the school?
You decide. Staff get one of three roles - Admin, Staff or Accountant - and admins can fine-tune access module-by-module for any individual. Deactivating a staff member takes effect immediately, even mid-session.

Can we move our existing student and fee data across?

How long does it take to go live?
It depends on your size and how your current data is held. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the demo. [Owner to confirm a typical range.]
Does it use the April–March academic year?
Yes. The whole platform runs on the Indian financial/academic year (April–March), with sessions written as YYYY-YY. Fees are billed per session, and cross-session tuition is priced at each session's own rate.
Does it support CBSE-style report cards?
Yes. You define your terms, components and weights, and choose a grade scale - including CBSE-style percentage bands (90%→A1, 80%→A2…). Co-scholastic subjects are grouped separately, and the early years can use a skills-based (competency) report instead.
Do you support DigiLocker and APAAR ID?
Yes. Both student and staff admissions can be verified with DigiLocker Aadhaar e-KYC, and APAAR IDs are captured (via DigiLocker or by hand) and printed on leaving, bonafide and fee certificates.
Can parents pay fees online?
Yes. Parents pay outstanding fees online from the school's own page using the admission number and date of birth, via CCAvenue. Payments reconcile automatically, and receipts are generated the moment a payment succeeds.
Are the live classes really self-hosted?
Yes. Live video classes run on infrastructure we host - there's no third-party video tool and no per-minute meeting fees. Attendance is captured automatically from when each student joins and leaves, and the class chat is saved as a transcript.
Is there an app for parents and students?
Yes - parents and students log in to a web portal today for fees, receipts, attendance, homework and joining live classes. It works in any browser, on phone or computer. A dedicated mobile app is coming soon; for now the web portal gives parents and students everything on the go.

We don't publish a one-size-fits-all price because the right plan depends on your student numbers and which parts of the platform you use. Yes. If you run or work across more than one school on Infoiles Ed, a single login works for all of them, and you simply choose which school to enter.
